TJ Online Discussion Forum Rules
We encourage TJ Online subscribers to contribute postings freely to the Daily Discussion Digest, available via email or through the website www.trainingjournal.com (‘TJ Online’), provided this is done in a reasonable manner with respect for others, and in accordance with these rules. Postings submitted to the Daily Discussion Digest may be removed or rejected entirely at our discretion without further comment whether or not such messages or comments breach these rules.
Postings should not contain any of the following:-
- profanity or obscenities of any kind, even if disguised with asterisks;
- defamatory, obscene, indecent, lewd, pornographic, violent, abusive, insulting, threatening and harassing comments or messages;
- personal attacks or remarks on others whether or not relating to their postings;
- content the disclosure of which would constitute a breach of any right of privacy, obligation of confidentiality, contractual obligation or any legal or regulatory provision;
- content that impersonates any other person;
- advertising or marketing of any kind;
- third party copyright material (postings should link to, rather than quote or copy from third party sources).
Postings should be submitted as follows:
- Postings should only discuss issues relevant to training, human resources and learning and development. TJ Online reserves the right to terminate or reinstate such issues under discussion.
- Postings should not exceed 400 words. Longer postings may be edited or rejected.
- Brief comments including replies to requests for recommendations, agreement or disagreement with postings should be sent direct to the person who has posted the request and at the e-mail address they provide, if any, and not posted on the Daily Discussion Digest. Self-recommendations may only be made following a request and should be sent direct to the person making the request.
- Comments or substantive replies to a posting should only be made after the entire posting has been considered and not emotionally or by taking words or phrases out of context.
- Subscribers should ensure their email address is set to display with their posting if they want to receive direct comments on their postings.
No-one shall harvest or collect e-mail addresses from the Digest. If a subscriber either directly or indirectly harvests the e-mail addresses of other subscribers for any purpose unrelated to contribution to the Digest TJ Online may terminate that subscriber’s subscription to the Daily Discussion Digest forthwith with no liability to TJ Online or Huveaux Plc.
