Neopost to host apprenticeship open day

Mailing software and solutions group Neopost have announced that they will be hosting an apprenticeship open day on Wednesday 8th February to support National Apprenticeship week.
Neopost has been running an apprenticeship scheme for the last three years, recruiting nine apprentices each year. To date, 17 apprentices have been through the Neopost scheme and 13 are still in employment at Neopost.
The apprenticeship open day aims to inform year 11 and sixth form about the Neopost scheme and the career options open to them when they leave full time education.
An apprenticeship at Neopost offers the opportunity to gain experience in customer service and business administration whilst earning a salary and gaining a NVQ level two qualification. Apprentices are supported throughout their placement and every apprentice is assigned a programme manager and business mentor who set out a structured development plan to help them in the early stages of their career with Neopost.
Katy Stanley, HR officer at Neopost, said: "Our apprenticeship scheme has been hugely successful since its introduction in 2009.
"After recruiting our first two apprentices, we quickly realised that the investment made in their training and development is returned to us through hard work, dedication and additional experience an apprentice can offer us once they graduate from the scheme.
"Now, 85 per cent of all our apprentices have gone onto a permanent role at Neopost and we are proud to have been able to offer young people a career path in customer services, business administration, HR, field service and business analytics."
