Reflections on learning from the #TJwow week of webinars

Last week saw the launch of the #TJwow webinar series and now it’s time to reflect

Reflection is a key part of learning, as discussed in the neuroscience TJ webinar last week.

With a whole week of webinars for the launch of #TJwow, this week offers an online discussion to reflect on key learning points.

The discussion is hosted by Con Sotidis, who featured as a speaker in the social media webinar discussion.

Sotidis commented that the discussion will be “good to cement learning” and that the 12-1pm UK time will allow “some to join us during their lunch and us Australians to join in as it’s later.”

New technology

Sotidis is hosting the discussion through Blab, a technology that allows for live video streaming of up to four speakers, with a chat panel used by Twitter handles.

People can join and leave the session as they like, as well as joining or leaving the video stream as a speaker. This can ensure that multiple people can voice their views or questions during a discussion.

TJ Deputy Editor and webinar host Jo Cook said, “I love this idea to extend the learning beyond what TJ offered last week. Con is great with video and Blab and I’m looking forward to people perhaps using this for the first time, as well as the discussion about things that struck us as relevant from some great conversations last week.”
