New research from global beauty brand, Avon reveals that nearly one in 10 women are at increased risk of breast cancer due to ignorance of self-examination having never undertaken a self-check. The survey of over 2,000 UK women and men, reveals that only 34% of women have checked their breasts in the last month, while among young men nearly 30% of 16-24-year-olds and one in five of 25–34-year-olds say it is not possible for men to develop breast cancer.
