The shortlist for L&D Professional on the Year is still being considered and will be announced soon. There will be no shortlist published for the Special Achievement Award 2019 – nominees will be contacted by the organisers in due course.

“This year the TJ Awards had around 100 organisations enter and the competition for places in the finals has been fierce, particularly in the partnership and leadership categories – demonstrating that in hard times organisations recognise the importance of good leadership skills combined with a collaborative approach is the way to success.” says Debbie Carter, TJ’s editor-in-chief.

“As always there is a great mix of national and international organisations in the shortlist. We have finalists from commercial giants like: AstraZeneca, Fujitsu and RBS; while the not-for-profit and public sector are well represented by organisations such as: National Autism Society, Cumbria Police and NHS Resolution.”

The next, and final stage of judging are the interviews that will take place in September. Winners will be announced at the Gala Dinner on 3 December. The venue will be the Pavilion at the Tower of London, which proved to be so popular with guests last year.
