etc.venues voted UK’s number one for hosting conference and training events

The report published today, surveyed organisers of all shapes and sizes to discover how the event industry was feeling about a whole range of issues

Training and conference venue providers etc.venues have been nominated as the UK’s favourite venue provider by Eventbrite, in their Events Industry Insights Pulse Report.

The report published today, surveyed organisers of all shapes and sizes to discover how the event industry was feeling about a whole range of issues. It covers everything from budgets to trends, marketing to venues – and not only concluded that etc.venues was the UK’s favourite, but also that optimism in the industry was high.

etc.venues has multiple locations across London with another in Birmingham. The provider was lauded for its flexibility, technology, location and customer service – all factors contributing to it being voted as the number one venue.

The least important factor for event organisers taking the survey was accreditation, with just eight per cent ranking it as ‘very important’ and 15 per cent saying it was ‘not important at all’. There were some interesting variations between the types of organisers too. Professional event organisers were twice as likely to rank accreditation as very important than charities or non-profits. Medium-to-large businesses cared most about a venue’s brand fit, with 44 per cent saying it was very important (versus 32 per cent across all types of organiser).

Medium-to-large businesses and professional event organisers were the least price sensitive (53 per cent), while charities were the most sensitive with 72 per cent indicating it was a ‘very important’ factor when making a decision to hire a venue.

Commenting on the nomination, sales director Margaretha Welsford, said: “I’m delighted to read that there is such optimism in the events industry and chuffed to bits that etc.venues received so many nominations. Our core values have always been about flexibility, investment in our people and the latest technology and the report confirms that these are all a really high priority of our clients.”
