A celebratory look at the news before we close for the holidays

This week’s news is unashamedly festive.

Starting off with a heart-warming tale of how a determined group of carolers returned to the empty streets of London to restore cheer and hope for a return to a Dickensian Christmas. We offer some help on what to read over the holidays including: Deloitte’s Insights’ 2021 suggested reading; The Aspen Institute’s predictions for 2022 and the WEF's best business books of the year. We end with a heart-warming story of a house in the Isle Wight that, with some outrageous Yuletide decorations, is raising spirits and funds for suicide charities.
